Laura has her BSW in Social Work and Sociology. She was a Social Worker for newborns-teens in foster care. From there she moved into medical case management, community health, then HIV care & prevention.

Laura’s career path following Social Work is Licensed Massage Therapist, 10 years, infants-elderly. Her focus is rehabilitative therapy and pre/postnatal care. She is also certified in infant/child/adult CPR & First Aid.

While focusing on pre/postnatal massage, clients had been asking her for a few years to be present at their births prior to training. She officially received DONA Birth Doula training in 2018.
