About

I was born in Ireland to a family of 9 children. I immigrated to the USA in 1980. I was a nanny for 5 years, shortly after that I met my husband and was blessed with 3 beautiful children. As a mother with not a lot of family in the area, I learned the values and the struggles to the transition to be a mother. After my kids got older, I wanted to learn more about newborn care and postpartum doulas. Since then, I finished my postpartum doula training and have been consistently taking numerous newborn care classes for certifications. Through confidence, encouragement, knowledge and technique I am able to support families as a newborn care specialist and a postpartum doula. I support families in easing the baby and parents into regular, healthy sleep patterns. I help you adjust to newborn life, support you with breastfeeding and bottle feeding, assist with care of the home during the postpartum period, and help you rest and recover after birth.
