Missy is a trained DONA International postpartum doula and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  Bringing home a new addition to the family is exciting but also a big change and brings with it unique challenges. She excels and enjoys helping families going through this transition. Her primary goal is to nurture the family and support them through the adjustments a newborn requires. With her clinical background and experience working with children and families, she is able to recognize the various aspects of a family’s life that are affected by the new addition. She is committed to supporting the family emotionally and physically, while fostering competence and confidence. She thrives on watching families grow and embrace their independence as a family. When Missy isn’t working with families she spends her time with her husband and adorable bulldog in Logan Circle where she resides.
