Mia, Metro DC Postpartum Doula

Mia, Postpartum Doula & Certified Lactation Counselor

Hi! I'm a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and experienced postpartum doula who has been providing daytime support to families in the DC area since 2019.

I am here to help you discern what you want for yourself and your child/children in a world constantly sending mixed messages about the “best” way to parent an infant. While I'm always willing to offer advice, I am here to affirm you and your choices. As you get your footing in the early postpartum days (and often, daze), I'm also here to cook nourishing meals for you and your family, support you in feeding your baby, and help with the day-to-day upkeep of a home so you can focus on healing.

My past clients have described me as gentle, nurturing, empathetic, informed, and a good listener. I am also Cuban-American, queer, and Jewish. Outside of work, I am a dancer and run a poetry group out of my home. I'll take every opportunity to be outside somewhere beautiful. I'd love to be part of your postpartum support team!
