Banger, Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula & Certified Breast/Chestfeeding Specialist

I’m Banger, a spirited doula local to the northern Virginia area. I was a nanny for many years before transitioning into being a doula/birth care giver. Since becoming a doula, I have found that I am passionate about reproductive justice, and that being a doula suits my calm and gentle personality.

I am committed to providing care for families of all identities, backgrounds, and cultures. I hold a judgment-free space and provide relevant resources to parent(s)/caregiver(s) as they navigate making important and personal choices that come along with growing a family.

I have a background in lactation, newborn care, mental health support, and disability justice. I bring all my knowledge and compassion to the table with any family I work with.

I work with a service dog who is a calm and extremely well trained standard poodle. I want to provide the best care I can, so whether or not I bring my service dog with me into a family’s home is up to each individual family. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about working with a doula who has a service animal!
