Fatou, Certified Postpartum Doula

My love and care for children and people are what led me to become a postpartum doula. I've always been told that I have a naturally nurturing personality, and supporting others during such an important time in their lives truly brings me joy. As both a mother and grandmother, I understand first hand how challenging the postpartum period can be physically, emotionally and mentally. Every mother deserves to feel cared for, heard and supported as she adjusts to life with her newborn. My goal is to provide that comfort through compassion, patience and understanding.

Outside of my work, i cherish spending time with my family. I have one daughter and two beautiful grandchildren who fill my heart with love and laughter. I enjoy being surrounded by family, chatting to each other. These moments remind me of how important connection and support are valuable and that is what i bring into the families that I work with as a doula. I strive to create a warm and peaceful environment where families can feel safe, cared and confident in their new journey together with me.
