About

My name is Jennie Morgan, I’ve loved babies for as long as I can remember. Before I even knew what a Postpartum Doula was, I was assisting new mothers right after they had given birth. As a kid, I always volunteered to work with infants in the church nursery, and I babysat all through my teenage years. I worked as a live-in nanny and a travel nanny off and on from 2012-2018. I did everything from household chores, to helping prepare meals, to assisting and attending to other children while mom was with her newborn, to taking care of the newborn while mom got some alone time, to taking over with baby at night so that mom could catch up on sleep. Then, in 2018 I gave birth to my son. After experiencing motherhood personally for myself I discovered doulas and became interested in pursuing a doula profession myself (both birth and postpartum) in order to give mothers emotional and physical support throughout pregnancy and beyond. I completed my Birth Doula Training through DONA International in 2019 and Postpartum Doula training in 2021. I began working as a birth and postpartum doula in 2021 and have been going nonstop ever since. My hope for all new parents is a positive birth and postpartum experience. You can do this, and I will support you!
