About
Lacey (she/they) was trained by Cornerstone Doula Trainings in Oakland, CA in 2017 and is in midwifery school. She has supported more than 100 families through birth and the fourth-trimester journeys as a birth doula, student midwife, and postpartum doula.
She has extensive knowledge of newborn “normals,” care, and cues, is able to support with breastfeeding when challenges arise, and help inform decision-making around feeding, sleep, and vaccines.
In addition to her love of birth and postpartum, she worked as a sleep technician and research assistant for five years. She is a passionate advocate for sleep, and she understands that it is a crucial aspect of mental well-being. An overnight postpartum doula can do a lot to support sleep for both parents and babies and ease the transition into parenthood, whether for a new parent or a parent adding another baby to the family.
The transformation of someone from Individual to Parent is a beautiful experience and Lacey is honored to be present and a resource for the new parents.
